La Miroiterie
La Miroiterie at 88 rue de Ménilmontant in Paris was a squat in a former mirror factory. It was located in Paris’s Twentieth Arrondissement, that artists and others have illegally occupied for thirteen years, accumulating a measure of fame. The place was famous for its punk, rap, and jazz concerts, which attracted thousands of bands from several continents. I photographed the place in September 2013, which I found by accident while exploring Belleville district and 20th Arrondissement.
